In a significant humanitarian effort, the Anambra State Association (ASA) Worldwide Medical Mission, led by Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze, the Traditional Prime Minister of Abagana, has brought much-needed medical services to the communities of Abagana and Abatete in Anambra State. The mission, which took place recently, provided critical healthcare services to hundreds of residents, addressing various health issues and enhancing the well-being of the local population.
The ASA, established in 57 countries worldwide, has been dedicated to bringing positive change to Anambra State through multiple initiatives. This year’s medical mission focused on providing care for eye problems, ear issues, diabetes, hypertension, typhoid, and skin disorders. Over three hundred individuals benefited from the medical services offered by the ASA, highlighting the significant impact of the organization’s efforts in the community.
In addition to the medical mission, ASA has been actively supporting education through scholarship programs for deserving students and providing free textbooks to schools. While the next year’s medical mission location remains undisclosed, ASA continues to work tirelessly to bring positive change to the region.
